When you build and run a new factory what electrical supply do you need? What infrastructure must be in place? How much power will you consume?
These are just some of the questions Pure Recycling face with their new plant in Evesham. k-lec have provided answers on energy consumption, transformer sizing, planned loads (both possible and practical), along with the technical knowledge of how to make all this infrastructure work. k-lec also help prepare for the unexpected with the engineering of back-up generator provisions to the system with a fully explained and detailed change over procedure.
Keith Lamb - the lead consultant with this Project said "it has been a real challenge to accurately estimate the running currents of equipment that has never been used in tandem before. It's jobs like these where we prove our worth to the Client and show them the value of incorporating our vision into their Projects."
From an initial request to assist with technical queries at the beginning of 2010 k-lec have been retained throughout the Project right up to final sign-off. As Pure Recycling are now part of the Kier Group, k-lec have been added to the approved supplier list and look forward to successful completion and further work for the group in the days ahead.
